On Sat. Nov.19,2011, Darlene Feener will lead a bird walk at Willow Creek golf course in Pahrump, NV. We will meet at 7:00 A.M.
Directions: Take Hwy 160 North to Pahrump. Turn left at the second trafic signal ( HWY 372). Proceed about 1/2 mile to RED BUTTE. Turn left and the golf course will be on your right in about 1/2 mile.
Bring cameras, binoculars, wear comfy shoes. We’re almost guaranteed to see at least 25 species, and as many as 40. Darlene has birded here for several years and knows her way around. There are 7 ponds and many trees and shrubs.
