The mission of Red Rock Audubon Society is to protect, restore, and improve natural ecosystems, focusing on birds and other wildlife, and to educate the public about our unique Nevada environment.

RRAS Guided FIELD TRIPS

Members and the public are invited to see nature first-hand during RRAS Guided Field Trips to the best birding areas that can be reached within a day, or over a weekend, of the Las Vegas or surrounding southern Nevada region.  Field Trips also provide opportunities for volunteers to help with wildlife habitat restoration or preservation.  Red Rock Audubon Society Birding Field Trips are open to the public.  All ages and expertise levels are welcome and encouraged to attend!  There is no charge to participate, however occasionally there are entrance fees which will be specifically mentioned below in the trip description.  We suggest participants car pool when possible and share gas expenses & entrance fees.

To participate in a Field Trip, simply call the designated LEADER to make your reservation.

Also see the PDF version of our Newsletter for previous Field Trip reports.
