FUNDRAISING & SALES
-
CANS! CANS! CANS!
Please donate your aluminum cans to our recycling project. RRAS
collects aluminum cans to purchase classroom subscriptions of
AUDUBON
ADVENTURES for the Clark County school children. Contributing
your aluminum cans for recycling is an easy and environmentally
conscience way to help our cause. Children are our future and need
our support in every possible way! We have recycled cans and
accumulated more than $5,000 since beginning this project in 1994, but
our continued success depends on your participation.
How to help: Bring clean (and preferably crushed) cans to any
general meeting.
Cans will be collected in the parking lot by Felix Owens before the
meeting begins. You may also phone Felix at 702-395-5510 to arrange a
special pick up.
Recycle ink cartridges!
In addition to collecting aluminum cans for recycling, we also collect
used
OEM inkjet printer cartridges. Cartridges generally take about
1,000 years to decompose, so recycling and/or remanufacturing is
crucial! Working with
Empties4Cash.com, RRAS collects inkjet and toner cartridges for
recycling and in turns raises funds to help support our mission.
You can join in by donating your empty cartridges and encouraging others
to recycle.
How to help: Either pick up a postage-paid mailer or drop
off the cartridges at any
general meeting or
Pam Nickels' office
(Direct Access Lending, 650 White Drive, Suite 200, LV, 89119).
Arrangements may also be made by contacting us via our
website email.
Thank you for your support! Together, we can help the
environment in reducing landfill by recycling and raise funds for our
organization at the same time!
